Hi,
In the abort exception handler, put a breakpoint. Run your code, when the exception occurs, it should stop at the breakpoint. Then monitor the value of LR register, it'll tell you from which function the exception has been thrown.
Also try to monitor your stack pointer movements. Are you stacks having the correct sizes allocated during startup!!!
