Hi everyone, I started to delete some files in the files section, e.g. the flash programming utility because a new version has been posted on our website as well as on this forum, dto. for the LPC2131-2138 data sheet. May be we can generate some archive function but I am not sure whether that is possible with Yahoo groups or just starting to be more aware of the files space. P_A

Hi, concerning archives, In other yahoo groups like for example LTSpice the mailings have been archived and stored in a ZIP archive. This way it is often practical to download the archive and to search for some toppics offline. This may help to save disk space. Mery Christmas and all the best for the new year to come! I just checked and got "15779 Kb used of 20480 Kb total" so we only have about 4 Mb left. I'll transfer everything to my own web site on UK2.net where I have about 490 Mb free, with a link to it from the Yahoo files area. I can repeat the operation as necessary, I can't see us using up my UK2.NET allocation. As it's quite a valuable resource, perhaps someone else could volunteer to archive it as well. UK2.net is the biggest host in the UK, and is very reliable, but better safe than sorry. Leon

I can offer space on my web site at www.gnuarm.com. I don't see the space being any problem. It should be a good match with the GNU ARM tools.

Can't Philips host a files areas? For example, every now and then copy the files odd the file area and put them on a Philips server?

> Can't Philips host a files areas? If it really comes down to it, I have plenty of bandwidth and space on larwe.com and zws.com. I'd be happy to set up an ftp sub-user for someone from this list as long as they do the uploading and, if necessary, pruning. (Of course, if any warez or other material like that appeared in the ftp zone, I would revoke the account immediately and permanently... just a little CYA speech there)

Hi Charles, I think it is good to have Philips contributing in this group but it should still be as independend as possible, Philips hosting a part of it, well I don't know. Just my opinon. I have created a URL for a page at http://www.gnuarm.com/~lpc2000/. If someone will step up to the place and take responsibility for maintaining the site, I will provide the FTP login info.
