Best voltage regulators for the LPC2106?

Best voltage regulators for the LPC2106?

2005-01-06 by smt5211

Hi,

I'm using the LPC2106. Whats the best voltage regulators to use it.
We have very, very tight board space, and would perfer a common,
readbily available solution.

Would a Zener diode do? Or do we have to use a voltage regulator?

Maxim makes the MX8882, a tiny SOT23-6 dual 3.3/1.8 V regulator. They are
only available by the reel, though. The small size sounds impressive, but
you need three capacitors to go with it, and they are quite large.
