To software, the DAC appears as a read/write register, and you can 
just write new values to it as fast as to any other peripheral 
register on the VPB bus, such as the timers and GPIOs.

The analog settling time is somewhat covered in the User Manual that 
you can find in the Files section.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
