hello all,

i think the mididac has just too many options for a stooge panel that will
please everyone, but here are my thoughts. unfortunately i've commited to
all ancilliary signals (midi, juice, tie lines) being presented to the rear
of my cabinets, so while i'd love a couple of mididac panels, and plan on
buying more mididacs, i'd just find the inconsistancies with my system
annoying - back to the old diy silver emu (think rod hull) style panels...
anyway:

if this is in the same future as the polydac, then maybe this should be left
for the next run..?

i suppose, or "CC" as it is on Tony's suggested layout

i was really racking my brains yesterday thinking about this one - for a
start if (when) midi jacks go on the front you should check out the Deltron
circular panel mounting 5 pin din sockets, they're much more elegant than
those nasty generic oval ones, the only problem is something like a 16mm
hole to drill  - mind you  - a generic midi socket is similar..?
