I was considering the same thing when I remembered that my old RDS3600 had
cv inputs... Sure enough, I was able to drive the delay time with a
MOTM-300! :-)

Early this week my pet project was relocating my fx patchbay over next to
the modular. The most fun I had was driving the delay time with the vco, and
in putting some spring reverb early in in the signal chain. Hmm... now I'm
thinking about side-chaining some gates... gotta go play...!
