Big projects like a FFB, Sequencer (Supermoe or Minimoes) or a Vocoder would become more affordable at the beginning for many of us and the only "serious risk" i.m.o. is that there might be a few modules around with scratchy low quality pots bearing the MOTM name but I would think seriously about this possibility of partial kits for very big projects.
