Hello all! I have just started my first PCB project with the Kester organic water soluble solder. Having been used to rosin core solder for 35 years or so, I am finding it a bit difficult to determine the proper technique for this stuff. I have the soldering iron set to about 700 Fahrenheit, as I was used to production line work when working as a technician. The solder does not seem to "flow" as well as the rosin core solder. Can I achieve better results with a lower temp? Or is this just the nature of the product? I don't seem to be getting the flow of solder through to the component side of the board. Any hints would be appreciated. Scott (just an old guy trying to adjust) :)
