Yes, this list is a life-saver, and it very rarely degenerates into anywhere
NEAR the kind of ranting, raving, and flaming that we see elsewhere, dealing
with very similar subject matter.

_And anyone who disagrees with me is a JERK!!_ (Just kidding, just
kidding...)

It must say something about the MOTM system that it attracts serious,
helpful people. I can't say 'why,' but I've been on this list for several
years now and it's been great. I can't tell you how many of the Email from
this list I've SAVED! I have a huge archive (so big I'll never find
anything) full of wisdom from this forum.

As an aside, isn't it nice that we have a forum for questions like this?
I recall some electronics newbies being berated regularly on AH for
asking this kind of stuff!  I hope our list never becomes that useless!
