Since this issue is a 'hot button', let me reiterate my official position (which you won't like).

I (personally, speaking for Synthesis Technology) can offer NO ADVICE WHATSOEVER about wiring up
your own power supplies. This is *strictly* a legal protection.

There are helpful and talented people on the list that actually can describe this better than me
anyway :)

I don't do my own house wiring, either.
