It has been suggested to 'mirror image' the 2 LED displays with the 2 control knobs. Logic being
that right handed folks won't obstruct the display when entering data.

My reason for putting them on the left side is that if you playing a keyboard with your right
hand, the left hand is for tweaking/patching. I thought that while playing live, most folks
(being right-handed) would more than likely have their left hand free during the performance.
That is why START/STOP buttons are on the far left-side column.

Thoughts?

I do like the idea of moving the GATE buttons to the right, although I think it makes sense to
put GATE1 above the GATE 2 button, at the far right column.
