MOTM

Hello MOTMers,

Seems like most everyone adapts smaller modules to fit the larger 
MOTM format but here's something different...

I'd like to adapt an MOTM-320 VCLFO to fit into a FracRak.  Since the 
FrakRak is only 5.25" in height I'll need to mount the short end of 
the PCB onto the new front panel (whereas the original MOTM front 
panel has the long end of the PCB mounted to the front panel).  This 
means I'll need to remove the pots from the PCB and remount them onto 
the new face plate then attach them to the PCB with flying wires.  
I'd like to use the original pots if possible.  My two questions are:

Can I do this without hindering the performance of the VCLFO?
What would be the best gauge wire to use for the flying wires?
