yes. now, if the pedal outputs a cv, then isn't it possible to 
directly connect the pedal to an attenuator input of a filter, vca, 
etc... 
or:
what exactly does the 850 do? does it just convert the "voltage out" 
of the pedal to a motm-compatible/useable range?
