LFO mod of VCO (was Using Velocity)

2005-02-22 by Dino Leone

I've been thinking about the same issue and I'm
wondering whether it's necessary to "waste" a VCA just
to attenuate the CV of the MOTM380 LFO to feed into
the FM of a MOTM300...
right now I keep the FM attenuator on the MOTM300
always between 0 and 1 (on a full scale of 0-10)... so
I was thinking if it would make sense to modify a
MOTM380 so that its output amplitude is smaller? Or
maybe I'm just missing something here again?

Best,

Dino
