Although I have little real understanding of what I'm doing, I just started building too -- up to module #5 or 6. I have a PAiA 9700, so I can generate CVs to test the 190 with. Were I you, I'd build an LFO next, this will provide you with a CV that doesn't require any external gate/trigger/etc.. Then you can listen to the output of your iPod as if a perfect-sinewave-monkey was playing with the volume control. (jfm3)
