Aw snap! I finally broke down today and ordered a WTCPT and one of them handy lead bending guides from Mouser. I had no idea Radio Shack was based out of F.W., but I do have one of the Radio Shack 15/30 watt irons that got me through my first project, a Paia Theremax. Even toward the end when I really started to get the hang of soldering I could definately tell the difference between one solder and the next as far as the tip temp not really being too constant. Especially when I got to soldering the lugs on the pots and jacks!
