I've just returned from Greenville, SC where I attended the funeral of a close friend. He was absolutely one of the best bass players I have ever heard, and definitely the best I ever had the pleasure to play with. A cross between Victor Wooten and the Flea. He was only 36 years old. His house caught on fire and though the firefighters got there in time to save the exterior, most of the interior was gutted by the fire. Chuck was asleep at the time and died of smoke inhalation. Had he had a smoke detector in his house, he would probably still be with us. If you don't have smoke detectors, go out right now and buy some. If you do, go check your batteries. Sorry for the rant, but I'm a little stunned right now, this seems like such a senseless loss. Tomy
