FWIW, I'd say get the 420 first (since it's both high pass and low pass), 
then the 440 (the best LPF around), then the 410. The 410 is a very different 
beast. As Vosh said, it's more of a processor type module than most VCLPFs 
are, and I find it a kind of weird module (with the onboard LFOs). It is a 
great filter though, and very useful for animating sounds (as others have 
said) -- ya gotta get all three, but you'll need all the other stuff too, 
like lotsa VCOs, EGs, VCAs, etc.
