I'm also a "Wacky" customer. At first, I was trying to color code my cables with various cable and stress/heatshrink color combinations, but I was getting too wrapped up in "o.k., this combo is voltage, this is audio, this one means it's three feet long..." in short I was being completely insane about it. So with my last big order, I told John "just give me 6 ea. [or whatever it was] of 1 ft., 2 ft., 3 ft., [etc.] and do them in any combination you want--just vary it." Sure enough, I got a rainbow of cables. Just the fact that they're all different makes it a TON easier to follow patches now. I look down on my non-wacky cables now.
