I'm sure you're all sick of my silly questions, but I hope this will be my last. I'm trying to build a keyboard type controller using schematics I found on another site. My complete stupidity coupled with the vagueness of the schematics plus an absence of a parts list has left me stumped on a few parts needed for this circuit. There are 2 capacitors on this schematic. One is marked 0.001 and the other is marked 1.0. I would figure these measurements are in microfarads, but I'm just guessing. One is used in the S&H and Glide function (1.0), the other is used between pins 1 & 2 on a TL072 op amp (0.001). My questions are A) do these seem like normal values for their function? B) Should these be polar caps or nonpolar? and C) what material should they be? (the vague instructions mentioned poly caps, but I'm not sure if that is right) Please, somebody, help me out. Thanks -Nate
