>thoughts? >~Steve I have 2 MIDI to CV converters in my studio, a JKJ CV-3, and a Doepfer A-190/191 combo. This gives 2 channels of notes and gates, 2 extra controllers on the JKJ and a whole bunch on the Doepfer. With that, I find that I very rarely use more than notes, gates and clock, and get the rest of the control stuff from CV's in the modular. I'm no MIDI purist, nor am I any sort of analog purist, in fact I rather pride myself on being an impurist in all of my attitudes. This is just what works for me. I find it much easier to keep track of a bunch of CV's than I do a bunch of MIDI controllers flying around the system. ____________________________________________ Dave Trenkel : improv@...
