You can use the ring mod section of you 110 as an emergency VCA without modification. 1. Audio into X, switch set to ...errr... AC 2. CV into Y, switch set to ....err.... DC You have top play with the controls a bit to get just what you want. I remember last time I did this, I had just a tiny bit of bleed through even when the EG had gone to zero CV. The solution for that is gating the output with a 700. Of course, the same EG can be used for the CV control of the 700 I think it was Moe Bradley's idea to use the 700. In fact, I am certain all of the ideas were someone else's at one time.
