As Ken and Bivins said, the 320 VC LFO, the 820 VC Lag Processor, and the
soon to be released 101 S/H & Noise modules all would work with the synths CV
inputs. I don't know the SH101 or a Prophet 600, but I did use a Pro One for
a few months and really liked it! I think it has a CV output which would work
from the keys and the sequencer and could drive the MOTM (and the other
synths' CV inputs too, if they have them). I also seem to recall it having a
S/H and a glide (lag) feature somewhere, so you could use your experiences
with those modules to determine whether you feel those would be of interest
to you as a general all purpose module.

As far as processing sounds go, I'm surprised no one has mentioned the ever
popular MOTM 410 VC Triple Resonant Filter. I seem to remember this being
everyone's favorite processing module. The module has three bandpass filters
with individual frequency adjustments and a built in LFO which can configured
in a few different ways, it also has three CV inputs. It can sound a bit like
a phaser but has a great deal of flexibility.

It would be difficult to choose just two modules, but that's what's great
about modular -- as you start to get a bunch of modules, the whole system
becomes much more flexible with each new one.
