Not a bad week. Built up the 820, the 700 and the 510. The 510 is immediately lotsa fun. Need cables....... PLL, BFG

a) MOTM-960 has 4-pin connectors only (+-15V modules) b) MOTM-990 has *both* 4-pin and 6-pin (added +5V for digital modules) However, if you want a board

Sorry to annoy the list with a question primarily aimed at Paul, and forgive me for not paying attention, but what s the current state of power distribution
2005-08-11 by John Blacet
I just did a nose count . There are 18 MOTM-style kits left. There are no assembled units left for MOTM style. (There are *zero* Blacet style kits left).

I ve got a couple, including an unbuilt Blacet mixer kit. Glad to help. Or a complete PAIA Frac-Rac with a Klang Werk, sub-octave divider, and a Dark Star.

I need to borrow some Frac-Rack modules, NOT a Time Machine. If anyone can spare one out of the rack for a few days, contact me off-line. Paul S.

Hi All - Just finished my 485. The demos show the 485 fed by two 310 s, one all SAW one all SQR. I attenuated the VCO outs a little using the Oakley MultiMix.

The March of the Penguins is quite excellent if you like nature stuff. Good soundtrack! French production, shot on 16MM. Released by National Geographic

OK, the OUT jack is J4 on the pc board. The instructions state J2 on Page 11 but obviously that isn t correct. Paul S.

I noticed something odd about Dave s assembly photo of the 485. If the jacks are labelled like they are in the catalog photo: Left side top to bottom: IN1,

3 people have noted that using longer (over 20 ) power cords makes the 485 twitchy. This is due to the very high impedance FET buffer picking up AM radio

I typically use a solder sucker with the PCB in a holder so I can access both sides of the board. I can use the iron on one side and the sucker on the other.

It a little hard to decipher your circuit, but in general terms, a JFET will always conduct until you pinch it off. The part you mentioned is an N-channel JFET
