Just a fast question. Are there any other electronics parts catalogs that
carry a large variety of stuff a person should have beyond the following?
Mouser
Digikey
Allied
RadioShack/TechAmerica

Don't forget:
Jameco (800-831-4242)
jameco.com
Also some surplus places:
DC Electronics (800-467-7763) (I think they get a lot of Mouser overstock)
dckits.com
Unicorn Electronics (800-824-3432)
unicornelectronics.com
All Electronics (800-826-5432)
allcorp.com
Alltronics (408-943-9773)
alltronics.com
The last two are good places to find old PC joysticks for example.

Thanks to everyone for the catalog suggestions. Newark is the one I was
trying to think of. And it jogged my memory into remembering what I think
is/was Hamilton. As for All Electronics, I used to shop there in person when
I lived in CA, and I used to get Jameco catalogs in the mail. They aren't
quite the places for a huge variety of electronics parts though.
