way OT again--flash paper

Here's my problem: I'm trying to ignite a tiny piece of
flash paper in an inconspicuous
manner. I'm trying to simulate muzzle flash coming from
tiny toy guns being "fired"
by toy sheep.
Please reply off list. Any suggestions
welcome.
