New Frankensynth Pictures

2002-03-11 by Rhen, Kris

Here're some more recent (this weekend) pics of Frankensynth WITH the Wogglebug and RS240 Bode Freq shifter:

http://www.stucki.com/krhen/downloads/frankensynth

(unfortunately in no apparent order :-) Also in there are pics of my very first pure DIY module, a super-rectifier with two DC Decouplers and two Inverters, on an Arrick/.COM faceplate (near a big homemade Arrick multiple and jack converter). Designed the circuits from scratch, built the sucker, and it actually works :-) Not shown: Four MOTM modules that should be shipping soon (I hope :-), and several Doepfer modules and my in-design super modular controller panel, details soon (along with MP3 demos of the Woggle and Bode).

This is peanuts. I know of:

a) Person in UK with 280 Digisound modules (popular CEM-based DIY kits in mid 80s)

b) Person with 180 'D' modules, 104 .com modules AND 55 Polyfusion modules

c) Person with 165 'D' modules, 48 MOTM modules and 19 individual keyboards

d) Then there is the Fist of God Serge, up to I think 53 panels with averge 6 moduesl/panel = 318
individual modules

Paul S.
has ZERO modules

If this is Dave in London. I believe he now has over 700... although
some of them still need to be constructed and none of them are powered
up at all the last time I spoke to him.

But just think of all those 3.5mm jack sockets :-0

Yep, that's him.

Last time I spoke he had 280 actually working. It's wouldn't surprise me if he have 1500 of them
in various states.

I have an update for Person "B":

180 'D' modules, 112 .com, 55 Polyfusion, 14 Serge panels, 18 Wiard modules and 40 AS modules.
Has ordered 4 MOTM modules. I'm on the radar!
