MOTM-650 button vote

MOTM-650 button vote

2002-12-10 by mate_stubb <mate_stubb@yahoo.com>

Well, I drew it up like Paul wanted it, but this would be my vote:

Channels are vertical rows, channel 1 to the left and channel 4 to
the right, thus matching the LED indicators above.

From bottom to top, CV, GATE, VEL, AUX.

Moe

I agree with Moe on the vertical layout; it makes more sense if you
chain several of these units together. Although, I prefer GATE on the
bottom.

If I vote, does this mean I commit to buying one?

I agree with Moe on the vertical layout; it makes more sense once you
chain several of these units together. Although, I prefer GATE on the
bottom. Too bad those nice blue buttons (like on the 650) won't fit,
that's a real blemish.

If I vote, does this mean I commit to buying one?

I vote for Moe's Rows as well.
I've ordered two. Do I get two votes? :)

Aw, don't listen to him, that part about current age is a bunch of crap -
otherwise his own vote wouldn't mean much.

Besides, I would argue that since you "can't take it with you", you might as
well spend it on MOTM.

Heh.. <ducking..>

No, but your vote is subject to certain calculations:

Your vote *(number of 650s currently on order, substitute 0.1 if none on
order) * (number of MOTM modules you own now) * (0.5 * number of modules on
back order) * (72 - your current age {to determine the number of modules you
are likely to buy in the future}) , then multiplied by general disposable
income (submit last 3 years tax returns for verification).

Clear? :)

I vote for Moe's layout also. The channels visually match the LED's
and for me the most used jacks go from the bottom up to keep the
cable clutter at the bottom.

And yes, I ordered one, so I now need to figure out my vote weight as
run through Larry's vote equations.
