I've got an opportunity to purchase a prophet 5 for $500.  The 
ignorant owner isn't sure if it works or not, says it makes noise, 
but not musical.

One sold on ebay last night for $1,700, with midi and case.  Is a 
broken one worth $500? Pictures look good. It may work fine, but I'm 
on the other side of the country, and can't check it out.

And how much do these weight? He wants $100 for shipping :(
