Blacet Miniwave roms

Blacet Miniwave roms

Is there a consensus for what the next rom or roms should be for the
miniwave beyond the standard default rom? What do people recommend?

I've got the expansion board and need to start populating it.

My recommendation for #2 would be Blacet's Socket Rocket. For more on
ROMs for the 10-socket Hylander expander board, I suggest subscribing to
the Blacet email list. There's been some discussion about this recently.

By far the most fun for me is the Scale Quantizer from Matthew Davidson.

If you are into quantizing, get the Scale Quantizer. I probably use the
quantizer capability of the Miniwave more than anything else, both bank
15 of the original ROM and the Scale Quantizer. It's a trade-off,
because the Miniwave can be used either as a quantizer or as a waveform
transformer, but not both at once. Depends on what you want to do. Two
ROMs is not enough! If you've got the expansion board, your problem is
to decide which *ten* ROMs to use. Since there are barely that many
available right now, it's not a big problem.

That's why I say "one Miniwave is not enough!" LOL! I keep my original
Wiard MW (one ROM only) as a dedicated quantizer, and my Blacet
(jacked up with the expansion board) for everything else.

Dave,

I have a couple I am offering now, and a few more in the final tweaking
stage. They are on the page with the Expander board @
www.hylander.com/miniwave. I like the Socket Rocket and Matthew's quantizer.
