[OT] Yamaha has a winner!!

[OT] Yamaha has a winner!!

1999-11-03 by Paul Schreiber

Per hype. got a Yamaha FS1R. All I can say is:

a) with one of these, list member Fred Becker could make his next 4 releases
b) my TX802 is going cheap...real cheap!
c) The beloved D-550 is looking like trade bait

I'll be up all night (again!) going through the 1536 presets !!

BTW: may actually receive another of theses per clerical error. Will sell
for the $619 I paid to keep return/credit card hassle to a min.

and now, back to good old analog

$165 free shipping. Does have mem cart, all manuals,
ans there is bending around the rack ears (how I got it)
but any Stooge with a hammer can fix that. Works perfectly.

I bought one new from a local store the month it was in Keyboard. Paid $1356
with tax.

I got one too, about a week ago. Awsome sounds. haven't been able to fully
get into it yet though. FYI Soundriver has a editor module for it and Yahama
UK has a stand alone editor for both mac and pc.
