410 R68 question

410 R68 question

2005-06-27 by Greg Amann

R68 is optional. It is used in the circuit if you want to use 10V ptp
modular levels into the filter and omitted if you want to use 1V ptp
external levels. I can think of obvious situations where I would want
to do both in the course of an evening's fun.

Has anyone oot there done a mod to switch R68 in and oot of the
circuit? Where on the front panel would you recommend I put the switch?

Thanks in advance, Greg

Hi Greg -

I haven't done the mod, but I do regularly hook my guitar up to the
410. It makes for a very nice effect that's similar to a phasor, but
just different enough that it gets noticed. You can use any preamp to
do this...

Yeah, the pre-amp route is the smartest and certainly the most
conceptually consistent. Thanks for the info.
