board washing

Is it ok for me to skip board washes? Like to do two instead of four. How crucial is this. It kind of seems like alot to wash the board in the middle of a resistor stuff for example. Thanks.

Wash your board! Yes, it is crucial. I repeat: WASHEREENO!

Yes, as long as the time is *less* than 1 hour between washings. NEVER stop
soldering and then not wash for overnight.

I left one of my boards without washing overnight. What a mess. It
took quite a bit of work to clean it up later. Lucky I just had
resistors on the board. Do as Paul describes.
