Very sad news indeed. I knew Jeff thru emails for the last several years and he was a great guy. I had no idea he was ill. Moe ... -- Dave Bradley

Jeff's CD-R is on my permanent rotation list both on my home stereo
and on my MP3 player. Great guy, great musician.

Me neither. :-(
I had some more e-mail contact quite some time ago.
Conversation always was nice with Jeff.

Couple of weeks ago I was looking for his website to follow some
changes he was planning and I couldn't find it.
The last mails I saw from Jeff were things he offered for sale.
Strange.

I dug this out (from Roger's site):

We'll surely miss him.

Very sad news! I was starting to wonder why I never got a reply to an
email I sent him recently. I used his design for the fpe faceplate for
my milton sequencer, and promised to send him pictures when it's done.
I was hoping to pick his brain for some last minute troubleshooting of
the thing - oh well.

He will be missed.

This is sad news. I met Jeff at MOK 2002 and we corresponded occasionally
after that. I heard about his three year cancer battle just two months ago,
after a reference to declining health on an AH post.

Jeff built two of the MOTM format Diode Waveform Shaper modules from the
same Stooge panels as mine, still a greatly under-recognized module in my
opinion. Over the years it seemed like Jeff was among the first DIYer to
build every unusual module out there, and even help design a few like the
Dim C and the CGS Weighted Random Switch.

Jeff's enthusiasm and presence will be missed.

Wow.. yet another sad day. I didn't know Jeff personally, but I remember he
was one of the handful of kind and knowledgeable list members that greeted
me back in early 2001. He also offered advice early on when I was a noob.
Unfortunately his personal web site hosted by KSU does not appear to be
available any longer. But you can find the site in the wayback machine
here:

He was quite the musician. I wonder if there is any way to get a copy of
this CD:

Sigh.
