E560 Deflector Shield: Come to NAMM

Re: [motm] E560 Deflector Shield: Come to NAMM

Cool but I'm a little bit lost with MOTM now. Is not going to exist any new module in 5U any more? Cloud Generator? Morphing Terranium?

Please, I would like to know...

New modules are going to released in Euro first, because I can sell 100-200 *immediately*.

The last new MOTM module, I sold 12 in 1 year.

I *do* plan to have new 5U designs next year, starting in March-April along with
MU format (synthesizers.com) AND a redesign of existing analog modules so I can ship
faster than 1-2 years.

OK, I hope so. If it's not possible, maybe a 'naked' format with the possibility of Bridechamber front panel should be fine.

Whoa, there's an MS20 app for the iPad?!?!
; p

Since MOTM format is where the DIYers mostly go, maybe just releasing boards and panels is the way to go. Probably no mounting holes on the boards, though, huh?

I'd also like to give the same two cents I gave before -- Don't gauge MOTM format interest on the Pulse Divider alone. I don't think many folks really understand that it is capable than a lot more than dividing a clock signal. You know filters and such sell much better than something thought of (wrong or no) as a utility module.
Also, it's not on your main module info pull-down page. It's still only on the News page and of course Order page.

Have fun at NAMM Paul!

Honestly I still don't know what I'd use that module for. Between that being the (only?) new module in five years, and epic wait times, you can't blame the end of the format on the users. Seems you're talking about new modules in every format except MOTM. And I still don't understand why you don't make a panel for the new modules as is, not panels for some eventual super version of them that will never happen.

Hi all,

Here are the demos I've done so far for the E560. Sure, it is only a Eurorack module right now but with a sufficient amount of pressure (relentless badgering, releasing of doves, sacrificing virgins etc) I'm sure we will eventually get a MOTM version! ;-)

I love my 730. I sold my 120 due to the sub divisions you can access being superior. You can divide down your initial frequency into many sub harmonic AND have the stepped and variable ones do cool things. Now I need a 16 input modular mixer! Yeah, it does clock stuff. And, the Robert Rich pennies in the dryer thing is cool too. It is way underrated. Maybe he shining have called it Warp Drive with non-traditional panel graphics and it would sell more? Buy one. I agree it should make it to Euro.
