a) John Blacet has a MOTM-300, so he's on the list. As long as he behaves.

b) MOTM-820 is in field trial. PCB tweaks getting finalized. Will ship
around June 1
as the metal shop is filled up. Not that my order for 250 panels had
anything to do with that :)

c) The NJR4558 is still available (world's best cheap audio amp, period!)
However, as I recall, there
was an issue with the Ibanez TS series that only *certain date codes* of
4558s are desired.

d) This is a busy week, feel free to pound email/call/show up at random to
get me to ship before
I go. No promises, I'm on 10 18 hour days in a row and counting.

Paul S.
BTW: will ship CEM chip order #500 this week! That's a *lot* of chips!
Probably shipped close to 4000 total.

1) The small Tek scope in the Robert Rich photo is a Model 222. He bought it
for $35 in San Jose flea market.

2) I ordered your freebie copies of his CD. I will start mailing them out in
batches around Sept. 4th. Additional
copies will be availble from his website. I will keep you posted when his
page goes 'live': there are liner notes
and some MP3 samples.

3) I have a big non-MOTM project next week. MOTM work/shipments, especially
Thur/Fri, will be sparse.

4) Did I mention over 180 modules were shipped in July??!? Rapidly closing
in on #2400 shipped (there are over
that on order).

5) Speaking of CD's, everyone please support DATT (Dave Fulton/John Duval)
by purchasing their new CD from
www.hypnos.com

And, while you're all feeling supportive, you can buy the new Minus
CD from www.newandimprov.com. Not exactly electronic music per se,
but lots of MOTM both as a noise/sound source and as a processor, in
a fairly psychotic rock/fusion power trio setting. I played bass and
twiddled the knobs...

I agree with Paul. I received my Ouroborus this past weekend and it is
definitely worth listening to. I think I could pick out some motm
generated passages, but there is such a variety of equipment (eg. Duval's
Fist of God Serge) used that it is difficult for me to pick particular
synths. My compliments to Fulton, Duval and Ellis (Ellis also has a very
well done individual cd out).

I have to chime in and agree with this assessment. I picked up both CDs and they
are *very* good. If you like older TDream with a new twist, these CDs will satisfy.
It is pretty hard to pick the synths but there are certainly some MOTM-410 washes
and other characteristic elements that come through. Regardless, there are some
great sounds and good pieces on these CDs.
