Thanks! I don't think I've added too much since I took that picture. Maybe one or two more, and I have three on "back-order." I have at least six conversions I need to do.

Ha! Right on! Maybe I should also post pictures of my in-laws standing around my pile of modules with their "What *is* this?" frowns on their faces.

He is a perfectionist and would not let me compromise when I was thinking of cutting a hole in a big MOTM panel mounting the Blacet module in the hole and adding 1/4 jacks below. Ken is on a relentless search for excellence. I guess that is what brought him to MOTM. Well, I guess that is a big part of what brought us all here. Ken could not nail four boards together and say "good-enuff." It would drive him crazy. Of course, maybe between in-laws, new baby, important job with too many worms and viruses, and Stooges like me always buggin' him, it could be a short drive. <snicker> Stooge Larry

An MOTM patch a day helps keep the Doepfer away. --Shemp

So I'm a little behind on my synth. You know, as an inducement to finding a suitable dwelling quickly, a close second to the 8 CD Pierre Henry box set is daily patching of MOTM modules. BTW, according to Moe, nothing goes with a good patch like a cold one. Don't forget your MOTM buddies when you brew it. >I keep revising my cabinet ideas, too. I've been thinking of a similar idea (in terms of the cabinet bolting on top) so let me know if you have any developments in this area. JB

Don't forget your MOTM buddies when you brew it. I find that a good wheat beer goes well with electronic music! I have my DIY panel project on hold while I try to adapt my flip-top beer bottles with Switchcraft 112A jacks. It's not easy....

I like it! Until Paul offers them, mount one of these on a 1u blank: http://www.williamsbrewing.com/tshirts.htm

How about a 1U beer opener? You could just bolt one of those older-style Coke openers onto a blank... That's a really good idea!!

http://thebevnet.com/features/cymba/ A quick Web search brought this up--looks like a co. that could produce Synthesis Technology bottle openers. I'm sure there are others. tomr ----- Original Message -----

It's easy, but given your need to have the top planes of the jack nuts perfectly level, you probably wouldn't like the marks the beer cap leaves in the nut. How about a 1U beer opener? You could just bolt one of those older-style Coke openers onto a blank... That's a really good idea!!

Hi all: I just uploaded my first motm track onto mp3.com...I got my kits about 2 weeks ago & loving them! It's called "Mind bugs" and you can listen to it at: http://mp3.com/puffboy It's covered in motm - just about everything is going through it somehow... about half way through a crazy oscillating noise comes in - it's a motm-420 self-oscillating being modulated by the motm-320 LFO with me playing with the lfo rate anyways, have a listen (& check out my other tracks, too!) paul
