Yes, I'm also interested in the status of the flat rails. My cabinet is waiting to
be glued together but I don't want to do that until I've tested out the rails. If
it was going to be several weeks, I was ready to take some standard rack rails to
check.

BTW, it was pointed out to me that since Moog modules are the same height as MOTM,
one should be able to take the standard rack rails or the flat rails and add some
holes and tap them such that one could install Moog modules on the rails... (yeah,
I know the power supplies and connectors are all different but it does save the
hassle of trying to find Moog cabinets or the even harder to find Moog 19" rack
cases should you come across some Moog modules...

Remember also that standard rack rails are tapped for a larger screw than
the MOTM modules are supplied with. So you'd have to come up with different
screws to try standard rails.

Sorry, I confused things. What I meant by "standard rack rails" was the standard
MOTM rails (MOTM-19A). When Paul sent out the measurements before, he indicated
that they would be the same width and guage. I can use them to check that I have
enough of a "lip" on the top and bottom of the cabinet and that I have set the lip
back far enough. The bend in the 19A rails does cause a bit of a problem but I can
turn it over just for testing. Of course, having the real flat rails would make
this a lot easier ;)
