Paul is cranky
2000-07-15 by Paul Schreiber
There is a good reason I don't get a hand-cranked lead forming tool. They only work if the parts are on tape/reel. The 0.1uF caps I get this way, and diodes. All of the resistors are "loose" and not on tape and reel. Currently, I use 49 *different* resistors. Sorry, I don't feel like ordering 49 reels of parts (let's see 5,000/reel x 49 = 245,000 parts for a cost of about $3200) NO THANKS! There is another reason as well. It makes it *harder* to cinch the leads before soldering. Paul S.
