Here's a scan of the Edgar Winter Frankestein patch from Mark Vail's book "Vintage Synthesizers". This book is a must for anyone who is into analog, the second edition is still available at Barnes and Noble for around $25!!!
Have fun,

Reminds me that I have been having some fun lately with noise
as a trigger source. Changing the level changes the rate of triggers.
I even got close to the Edgar Winter thing in Frankenstein.
Anyone know that exact patch?

Please do not send large attachments to the list. Some of us
are on slow dialup connections and do not have time to wait for
a MIME encapsulated 700k JPEG to download. A much more friendly
alternative is to post the picture to a website and provide a
link to it. Thanks.

There is a 20MB space on the onelist site for MOTM related files. If
anyone has a large file they would like to attach, they can post it
there and send the link. As long as someone cleans out the old files,
we should be able to use this space to our advantage. The link is

hello all

are there a set of "rules" for the motm list..?
cos i bet al is feeling a bit chastised maybe - pity cos, i can't wait to
try that patch out

would it, or would it not be a good idea to post a few guidelines for
newbies somewhere..?
i'm really not one for rules, and these long downloads don't bother me, but
a few pointers somewhere would stop innocent types from feeling bad
after all, we're all happy/laid back/kosher/easy going bunnies on this list
aren't we..?

cheers

Cary, My apologies for the large file... Those of us with Cable modems are spoiled!!!
Nathan, thank's for the info! Good idea! I uploaded the Fankenstein patch from Mark Vail's book "Vintage Synthesizers to the MOTM list at http://www.egroups.com/files/motm/ for anyone who like to see it...
I would like to suggest that the owner of the file should be responsible for deleting it. I plan to delete the Frankenstein file after about a week or so.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
