Heya folks, After searching the web for an hour, I've come to the conclusion that no one makes keyboard assemblies anymore. Does anyone know where I can get, say, a 61-note keyboard rank *new* as opposed to tearing it out of some defunct electronic organ or whatnot? I wish Pratt-Read was still in the keyboard-unit business. Crow /**/

Fatar manufactures the ones used in Waldorf and Ensoniq keyboards. It seems to me they do the Doepfer keyboards as well...? At any rate, perhaps they'd be willing to sell you what you're interested in. I couldn't find a website for them, but look on http://www.harmoney-central.com for some contact information. Help that helps, but I suspect you already knew about Fatar... :) --PBr

Last time I checked on Musikmesse (a couple of years ago), Fatar displayed a dozen different keyboards, and some excellent ones amongst them (which you won't likely find in typical $2500 synthesizers - I guess they sell them to church organ manufacturers where money is a different issue ...), but they would by no means sell to end users. I just looked and couldn't find them anymore - maybe they had some surplus stock and sold them? Moe
