This is a Moog Modular Model IC that is at $10,500 and still hasn't hit
reserve! You can but a lot of MOTM for that much money.... assembled even!

Yes, BUT, this included FOUR of the illusive and still not available in MOTM
format "multiples". I figured that alone was reason enough to bid high and
worry about performance later.

However, when looking that the photos, I was disappointed to see that
apparently FOUR multiples means just that - FOUR. Not FOUR panels of
multiples. HA HA. Correct me if my eyes deceive me, but I can find only
one multiple panel with TWO and I think I see another ONE multiple each
hidden on the mixer panels. Yep, that's FOUR. Wow !!!!

Paul, you better get busy and make those multiples available <stooge like
snicker>.

Correct you are... I figure the synth is worth about $3,500 so the
mult-panels is a steal at only $7,000! $1250 per 1/4" jack...

Look at the synth sitting next to it in the last picture. Is that a Buchla?

I was wondering what that was myself... interesting looking thing
(controller) in front of the other unit on the right.

Yes, that appears to be a Buchla 100 system with a touch controlled voltage source.
Each touch plate produces two preset voltages, a gate, and a pressure voltage (well,
really it is a voltage proportional to the amount of the plate is touched measured
as a capacitance. My guess is that the Buchla is older than the Moog.

There is bid shilling going on for the Moog Modular, so it is
unlikely it will go for $10k+.

Listen everybody. Go build an MOTM. Moog Modulars are rare ,expensive
and a pain in the ass to maintain and expand. Envelope generators are
gong for mor than a Motm 300.

As for the prices for whole systems. Nearly all who own won't sell at
any price so just forget it. The new Big Briar Base w modular expansion
will probably be just great. Mix with Motm and you will have good enogh.

Programing every from a 1a to a 55 is desk job anyhow.
