FW: [motm] OT- 606 mods/ nanofarads?

When looking for nutty values of resistors and capacitors, remember that you can use other values and combine them, with a little math. For capacitors, put them in parallel and add their values for a total capacitance. OR, put them in series and calculate the total value as (c1 X c2)/(c1 + c2), or for three or more, (1/(1/c1+1/c2+1/c3)). For resistors, same formulae but swap them for series/parallel (i.e., add values for series, &c.). Naturally if you are substituting several components for one, tolerances (error) begins to add up. Best to check what you have with a meter. Hope this offers another solution.
