OT as usual:
My mixer has an outboard power supply with a humming transformer.
I'm wondering if there is any other cause for this than problem
in the transformer--that is, could something else in the PS cause the
transformer to vibrate?  Also, the hum seems to be audible in the output of 
my mixer--would this make sense? & does fixing this problem always require 
replacement of the xformer, or are there less drastic measures one can take?
