	Thanks for designing the MOTM so that it fits in the SKB pop-up mixer case
so well.  Too bad it isn't 15U.  Actually none of the regular SKBs are
greater than 15U.  Oh well.  I just wish I could somehow protect the exposed
PCBs a bit more when the rack is popped up.  Ideas?
	I am currently using a Novation BassStation rack as my MIDI-to-CV
converter.  To bring my connections to the front, I am using the incredible
Behringer patch panel.  Really, the patch panel is overkill.  What would be
great is when the MOTM-9X0 multi comes out, that it would have several
pass-throughs from the rear of the rack to allow CV, Gate, Trigger and
effects to be passed through.  MIDI passthrough?  The latter might be good
when you are using the MOTM in the SKB in fully reclined position.
	On that note, what are the (heat) issues with leaving the SKB fully
reclined or leaving the rear cover on a full sized SKB when to full "racks"
of MOTM gear in installed and no empty spaces are left in the rack?

Everyone has forgot this was the #1 complaint against the Fenix. So I fixed
that!

I may design a 5U tall rear cover assembly that fits over 1 entire row. This
is for
UL, mainly for the power supply. It would be thin aluminum (0.062) that is
just
'U' - shaped and bolts to the 19" rails (you would get longer 10-32 screws
with it).

Zip! I have 3 full rows going and the power supply (heat generator) isn't
even
warm to the touch. Most modules generate milliwatts.

	So the follow up problem expected to occur for me in September is how do I
connect the power to my second SKB rack?  I am certainly not buying another
power supply.  Ah, it will be so nice not to have the "wasted" 3 spaces (I
need to check which SKB racks have rails on the backs in addition to the
fronts.).  What module again will have the additional power connectors?  How
long will the cable be back to the mother ship (er, PSU)?  What about a
special connector cable (secure plug, heavy duty single cable)?  Obviously
the supplied cables aren't going to reasonably reach from one case to
another.  And I don't want to hook up an extra 10 of the current (but
extended) cables every time I am at a gig.

How are some of the bigger MOTM units dealing with this?  Especially the 4+
voice MOTMs.

Can't even buy a new Fenix any more.  Viva la MOTM!

That would help...

So does that mean that the extra gaps in the panels probably weren't
necessary?

You have 3 rows of MOTM equipment???  That is hard to believe!

Also, I still want to support MOTM, but I'm going to have very little time to
build kits (for the next 2 years, or so -- going into another startup), so I
want to remain a subscriber, but please switch me over to assembled kits.

Sigh.

though.
