Hello Mellotronlings!

I have been on something of a hiatus after selling EMI104S some three
years ago (or more, it's hard to remember). I've found it very difficult to
immerse myself in mellotronia, primarily due to intense jealousy and regret
after having to sell for finacial reasons, something many of us can relate
to.

But no more! I have just obtained M400 #376, a former Beatlemania touring
tron belonging to producer Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies, Dinosaur Jr.,
etc. and owner of the former Fort Appache Studios and the recently closing
Camp Street Studios in Boston). I've had the pleasure of working on her on
many occasions and when I heard Paul was closing Camp Street, I
immediately placed dibs on it.

Although a bit rough around the edges, it plays beautifully with a stable
SMS3 control board. I plan on giving it much love as it's been a touch
neglected, and eventually a full ground-up restoration.

As any former tron owner could relate to, there has been a significant gap
in my studio's arsenal, not to mention my tendencies toward tinkering.
Somehow, I feel complete and felt the need to share.

It's good to be back.

Cheers!
