Thanks Gino!

As of now, I'm in good shape on that front, but we'll see once I put it back together and fire it up.

Fritz, I have a couple of Hammond amps from chop jobs (my age is showing) that you can strip for parts if you do the authentic replacement parts thing.. Personally I only recommend tube sockets and tubes and the like but Bob Moog reconditioned electrolytic caps.

Hi Fritz,
That’s great that your Hammond is being seen by “guru”, it should be more wonderful .
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it all the more!
Congrats and regards,
Tony

Thank you Vance. It's all about evacuation now isn't it!

p.s. So, I met a Hammond guru, who lives about 15 minutes from me. He's serviced all the NY/ NJ royalty and we know a lot of the same folks. My M3 is going on a road trip soon along with a case of Blue Moon. I'm very psyched to learn from a seasoned pro on the ins and outs of owning a Hammond. The 145 is ready to be reassembled as well. Enough about me....

3) In 100 % ORIGINAL condition. No a "Streetly serviced" or refurbished unit or any crap like that.

You're an obvious ASS! I guess you have no sense of these or any other vintage instrument, mechanical apparatus. You'll never ever find an original tron in top shape that hasn't been serviced. I doubt there are more than a handful of people in the world who could tell the difference between an expertly refurbed model and an original in top shape and you have just insulted that handful, who happen to be on this list.

Money can't buy love, but I suggest you spend a little of yours on some manners. Maybe you might want to look up the definition of research in a dictionary as it is obvious your research has been minimal at best.

This shit pisses me off.

Hi y'all:
I am looking for an original Mellotron from the 60's and I am willing to pay top dollar for the right one. It will be a gift for a very special someone.
I have been doing some research. May be someone on this group may help me find it or is willing to sell. These are my conditions.
1) It has to be in top shape.
2) Not a barn garbage or not working unit or partially working keyboard.
3) In 100 % ORIGINAL condition. No a "Streetly serviced" or refurbished unit or any crap like that.
4) If possible, I would like to have also original sets of recordings with the keyboard.
5) I don't mind the model as the previous 4 conditions are there.
Please send me some pictures or video to my email and the price you are looking for. I will be in touch with you within a week.
Thank you. Have a great day.
Jamie
