I love Errol Garner & Oscar Peterson too !


I recommend that you check out Art Tatum; I think he was big  influence on 
Oscar Peterson.


Also, check out Mal Waldron.



With the resurgence of the Mellotron, hopefully more artists will  try to 
utilize it effectively in some sort of jazz based music, even though  it 
seems, it was not used that successfully in the past.
