Some time back, Martin told me that  #1145 came off the line in November ‘
73.

Just checked back in the  archives of the list,  as I remember Martin very 
kindly looked up #1565's  birthday  a few years ago and it was 15th August 
1974,

That was a joke, Tony.  We've seen these build dates and purchase  dates 
fluctuate all over the map, and unless Martin and John can find the  list, I 
don't think we'll ever know for sure.  I agree, just out of  curiosity, it 
would be nice to know.

Same here interested, mine’s #510 and been under  the impression it was a 
1972 build.
Don’t think so now after seeing 1407 with a much  earlier date estimate.
