Hello!  I've bought an M4000!  Yesterday I was with Martin and John in their magical place and we had a great time.  Apart from making the best Mellotron you ever heard, they are wonderful people with a great sense of humor.  I was quite nervous playing the first chord on my new tron at Streetly, but what I heard just a few seconds later when I played a Cm6 with the "Gothic" sound, made me happy as a child.  They put hard work in the instrument and the result is extraordinary!  As they will probably read this message as well:  THANK YOU, John and Martin!
